I have been a therapist for more than 40 years. I work with adults navigating various changes in life, and specialize in teaching practical coping skills. I work with individual adults dealing with depression and trauma and their impacts on relationships, and add coaching and techniques from Neuro-Linguistic Programming for additional support in facilitating change. I have worked with the LGBQT community since before there was an acronym.
When you make a connection to another person in counseling, you offer them a safe space to "step out of themselves," and discuss their own behavior from a different perspective of detached observation. I help people to discover the strengths, skills and tools that they have and help them to make meaningful strategic changes in the way they think, feel and behave.
